Andre Canniere Quartet and Austin Carroll Quartet

A live jazz night with renowned jazz trumpeter Andre Canniere with support from trumpeter Austin Carroll and his quartet. Excellent music, drinks and good vibes! Dining options also available.

Andre Canniere is an acclaimed trumpet player, composer and educator currently based in London. Originally from rural Pennsylvania (USA), Canniere spent the first five years of his career in New York City where he worked with artists such as Maria Schneider, Becca Stevens, Donny McCaslin, Kate McGarry, Ingrid Jensen and Darcy James Argue.

Andre has been described as “one of the most compelling artists on the current London Jazz scene”  by The Scotsman. Andre has released four critically acclaimed albums for Whirlwind recordings, the most recent being Ghost Days in 2020. Tonight, Andre will Andre will be performing with his quartet –

Austin Carroll is a London based jazz trumpeter from Christchurch, Dorset. He is studying in his final year at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where he was a silver medallist in 2021. Studying under Steve Fishwick and Tom Walsh, Austin’s major stylistic influences include Tom Harrell and Chet Baker.

His quartet will be playing Austin’s entirely new and original compositions inspired by the writing of Horace Silver, Bill Evans and Marty Paich – expect cool swing and heavy Latin grooves.
