The Rocky Horror Show is set for Richmond Theatre with exciting cast

Producers of Richard O’Brien’s legendary rock ‘n’ roll musical have revealed further casting for the 25th major UK tour of the show.

Adam Strong, known for roles in We Will Rock You and Disney’s Aladdin, will make his debut in the iconic role of Frank.

Motherland star Jackie Clune will take on the role of The Narrator, bringing additional star power to the production.

Other cast members include Connor Carson as Brad, Lauren Chia as Janet, Job Greuter as Riff Raff, and Natasha Hoeberigs as Magenta/Usherette.

Jayme-Lee Zanoncelli, Morgan Jackson, and Edward Bullingham will play Columbia, Rocky, and Eddie/Dr Scott, respectively.

Directed by Christopher Luscombe, the show will feature all the classic musical numbers that have made the Rocky Horror Show a staple for over 50 years.

These include Sweet Transvestite, Science Fiction/Double Feature, Dammit Janet, and the ever-popular Time Warp.

The storyline follows Brad and his fiancée Janet, two college kids who have an unforgettable encounter with Dr Frank’n’Furter after their car breaks down outside his house.

The Rocky Horror Show holds the record for the longest continuous run of a contemporary musical anywhere in the world.

The show has thrilled over 30 million people in more than 30 countries and has been translated into 20 languages.

In 1975, it was adapted into the film The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which grossed over $135 million at the box office.

Over the past 50 years, numerous stars, including Russell Crowe, Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Jerry Springer, Jason Donovan, and Meatloaf, have graced the Rocky Horror Show.

As the show prepares to thrill audiences once again, it comes with a warning: it does contain rude parts.

The Rocky Horror Show will be at Richmond Theatre from April 28 to May 3.
